Saferly Ultra Fine Tip Surgical Skin Marker. This pens tip won't clog and stays needle sharp - yet soft enough to insure patient safety!

The ink is gentian violet. It is a surgical ink that is the only ink approved for use on human skin during any invasive procedures.

It can be removed with alcohol and a gentle scrub. It becomes a more permanent mark once it is allowed to dry. The pen is non-sterile and aseptic.

Do not autoclave. It will melt!

It is, as all pens like this are, intended for single patient use. The barrel doesn't need to be sterilized because it shouldn't be coming into contact with the wound site. The tip has never touched skin, so as long as it is single patient use, there is no chance for cross-contamination. The pen should be discarded or given to the client after use.

Directions for Use:

1. Clean skin area thoroughly with an alcohol prep or swab. Dry the area completely.
2. Carefully mark the cleaned skin area. Allow skin markings to dry.
3. Prep normally over marked site.

Spirit brand blue carrier sheet. Protects stencil paper and lengthens life of your thermofax

Thermofax machines tend to develop 'hot spots' as they are used over and over. Using this Spirit brand blue thermofax carrier spreads the thermal energy evenly over the entire transfer paper, helping to get rid of the “burns” that occur. It also helps to reduce over and underexposure which allows you to get and even, clear stencil.
