Cutback Front and Back Springs for Shading - Baltimore Street Irons

These springs are cut completely submerged, so there is no heat transfer to the metal during the process. This allows for zero loss of temper in the steel. With three sizes to choose from, there is a fit for everyones needs.

The thin spring measures 34mm long, whereas the fatter spring measures 45mm long.

The tabs are flat, allowing you to use o-rings if you want. The Cutback Springs are relieved in the center, allowing the armature bar to rebound more than usual. To control flex, we recommend thumb rolling the front spring and using the tab on the rear spring; roll the spring more for heavy bars, less for light bars.
